Mediscan, a diagnostic centre operated by a private company Mediscan Group, s.r.o., is a clinic providing both highly specialised diagnostic care using a state-of-the-art medical technology, and complex medical care. Since the beginning of its operation in 1996 its patients register has grown up to include more than 172,000 patients.

DC MEDISCAN is mostly a diagnostic facility with a state-of-the-art examination technology. It owns a computer tomograph and as the only clinic in CR, a nuclear magnetic resonance.

The key idea of the Diagnostic Centre is to perform a highly specialised medical diagnostics on a relatively small area. Using modern diagnostic equipment and highly qualified doctors it ensures ambulant examinations and substantial portion of examinations that can usually be performed only in big hospitals. DC thus becomes a guarantor of expertise and high quality of examinations performed for a number of doctors working in terrain.

The model of full Diagnostic Centre has been established on the basis of experience from abroad, where DCs of the kind are a wide spread form of a health-care facility. Patients are sent to DC by practitioners or specialists who do not own special examination technology. After the examination or initial treatment they return to their doctors or they are sent to bed facilities for further treatment.

To ensure a follow-up professional care, we co-operate with a number of renowned health-care facilities and specialised clinics.

DC Mediscan opening hours are Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Selected departments Saturdays and Sundays from 7:30 AM to 8:00 PM.
